How to remove Fuel Vent Hose

So a mouse chewed a hole in my fuel vent hose right where it meets the fuel pump under the rear seat. I ordered a new hose from BMW but now I am having no luck feeding the old hose out of the narrow passage into the passenger rear wheel area. Any advice??? The harder I pull, the more it Chinese-Finger-Traps on me.

soapy water. lube it up real good.
Push until you can push it anymore and then pull.

If that doesn't work, run a wire hangar through it. Knot on the opposite side you are pulling this way you can pull the hangar and the hose at the same time eliminating the chinese effect.

While it is barely possible to replace that hose with the tank mounted, the chances of success are slim. Once the tank has been dropped it becomes trivially easy.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
