What EPROM Chip does the 173 ECU use?

Just like the title says. I want to burn my own software to a chip that I can put in my 173 ECU. I was hoping someone on the board would know what EPROM chip is needed to do this with out me having to pull the ECU out of my own car.

EPROM: 27256 (same as the -153 and many more)
    Processor: 80515 (only in -173)

Is the processor type important when ordering a blank EPROM chip? Or should I just order some 27256 EPROM chips?

are you using a pocket programmer like this? http://xtronics.com/memory/EPROM.htm

if so, are you using any special software for it?

From what I understand my buddy Chuck has a dedicated computer with a programmer he built from scratch himself. I'm not really sure what software he uses.

You just need to be sure to buy the correct pin configuration for the socket.
