    Can't get into trunk.....

So my battery has some sort of draw on it and keeps discharging over time. I thought it would be smart to save myself having to jump start the car and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. So I disconnected the battery and shut the trunk.. then I realized that my trunk lock cylinder is severly siezed?! Key goes in flat but I cannot seems to turn it either way.

Sooo... any way to get around this. Should I spray some lube into lock cyl. and wiggle it/pry. Any access through the back seat? Maybe I'll have to smash a tail light.

    Any input is appreciated.

Depending on the car, you can remove the back seat and punch out the ski pass. Unless you are a skinny ass crack whore with long arms you aren't reaching the battery. I'd recommend having a locksmith drill the lock out and order a new one from Blunt. Blunt will probably have the part there before the locksmith arrives. sales@blunttech.com

whatever you do, dont smash a tail light.

Can you use the jump terminal under the hood and connect another car or battery to it to power your e30 to use the central locking? Not sure if thatll work with your battery disconnected, but worth a shot... Good luck!

RCM3: Link to the 2002 project thread? I've been lusting after a 2002 recently and seeing what you are up to.

Honestly, Ive just been stock-piling parts for it, thats it. I made a build thread on 2002faq but havent added anything since I got the 2002. Once I finish school Ill be working on it daily. So far I have e21 recaros, the 633 rear bucket style seats, crack free dash, gold euroweaves and bbs rz's for it if I stay 4-lug, euro bumpers, and an s14 (but I might sell that for an s54). Its stored away in my parents barn until I have a garage of my own to work on it.

Didnt mean to hijack the thread!

Try some lube (wd40 and such). Wiggle your keys a bit and put it in and pull it out a few times. It may get the mechanism to work. Got this to work on a buddy's car
