Took air box out today but where do these wires/plugs go???

Took the air box out today since I needed to check the air filter. Wow is there anything I can replace this lunking intake sensor and box with??? Like an adapter or something.


Also found to plugs that weren't hooked up to anything but couldn't find where they go.
I think one is for the fog light?


The lower plug in this one ^^ (kinda hard to see)


Blue plug in this one ^^ (other lower one in previous pic dangling in upper left corner)

One last thing, whats this orange piece, it started to fall apart and crack when I touched it :/

There is no "better" replacement for the OEM airbox. It shields heat well and doesn't restrict the airflow. You can replace the AFM with an MAF but you'll need a different chip (like a Miller MAF conversion) in the ECM to make it work properly. The black plug goes to the oil level sensor (I think) or it could be for the charcoal canister check valve. The orange connector is for the ABS sensor. Don't remember what the blue one is for.

Blue looks like its for a fog light. I would assume if its tucked in your engine bay that you dont have fogs

I think the blue one might be for the 13 button On Board Computer alarm horn. It would be mounted onthe bottom of the frame rail in that area.
