Stomp test just flashes with no pattern. Won't rev over 3k

So the car starts running extremely rough when I rev over 3k it breaks up. I pulled the main harness plug and dme relay and it got me home and is a bit better but breaks up if I go full throttle. Tried stomp test gave me dme/battery code earlier. Did it right after the above problem and now it just blinks forever with no pattern.

Please help this poor guy out lol.

Start with the basics. Check fuel pressure at the rail, check AFM connector, check for corrosion on c191 connector, check functionality of TPS. How old is the fuel filter?

      Just for future searches.

The car was breaking up bad with load or higher rpms with no load. Changed plugs and wires. Fixed. Plugs and wires said Bmw on them which meant they were original or dealer but were beyond old. Thanks for input.

Just a tip - if it's (breaking up issue) intermittent and won't act up when you're looking at the car, take a spray bottle full of water (make sure it sprays a very fine mist) and 'dust' the spark plug wires + distributor cap. If the wires or cap is bad the car will start running rough.

My car did the same, petrol filter(the one keeping the muck in the tank out of the pump) between the tank and pump blocked up, changed filter problem fixed.
