accelarator peddle linkage

not sure if this belongs here but here goes.
the bracket that the bushing sits in that the rod the accelerator peddle rides in is stress fracturing.
this but the one on the passenger side.

when I step on the gas the linkage rod forces the bracket to the right and the rod pulls out.
can jb weld be used to repair this or will I need a real welding job?

Always fix everything properly that way you wont be left with a jerry rigged car.
