My brakes don't work, pedal to the floor, no sign of leak

I left my E30 for a couple of weeks in the parking lot and when I decided to take it for a spin as soon as I hit the brakes they just sunk to the floor and the E30 slowed down very gradually.

Also there is hardly any travel left for the brakes before they hit the floor.

The brake fluid is between the minimum and maximum. I can't find any brake fluid leaks. I tried pressing the brakes while the car was off to leak fluid but nothing came out.

Any ideas what it could be?

If there are no leaks in any of the lines or at the calipers and no air in the system, the only other cause would be the master cylinder. Fluid can leak past the internal seals and cause exactly what you describe.

Brake master cylinder would be the first thing I'd check.

I just had the same issue, (no visbile leaks, pedal to the floor) and its the Brake master cylinder.
