    Oil pan plug thread

    Any one know the specs on the oil plug bolts thread for m20?
    looking for a oil temp sender to fit and need to know what thread it is.

      Do not mount the temp sensor there.

        why do you say that?

        what are my other options? an addapter where the factory one is, that allows both to screw in to it?

        tap a new thread somewhere?

          i dont think we have a factory oil temp sensor do we?

            we have something that comes out of the block. (exhasut side)
            I always thought it was a sensor for oil temp or pressure or something, i may be wrong though

                That's a pressure sender to cancel the warning light on the insturment cluster.
