    Fuel line replacement

So my buddy had an encounter with a ditch this morning, damaging the send line from the fuel tank fairly badly. I assume the easiest way to repair it is to cut out the damaged section and replace it with a piece of rubber fuel line w/clamps on either end. Any input? Need info ASAP if this will not work.

Also, how would I go about doing it? I haven't had enough space to get up under the car and look yet, as there is a 6' puddle of gas underneath it. Is there a way to drop the hard fuel lines from the location right where the frame rails turn upward by the firewall?

You could patch it with rubber line. Make sure its for fuel injection (higher pressure).
Unless you have something to flare the smooth ends of a cut metal line, then run rubber for the whole length, so you have a nipple on each end,for the hose to grab onto. Tie it up out of the way.

Replace it with metal line later.
