What brake pads do i need!!

I just bought a set of brembo sport rotors ( for those who dont know, they are cross drilled and have a cadmium finish).
Im wondering what kind of a pad i should use so i dont f*ck up the rotor?
    Pagid, Axiss, Hawk, EBC
Should i use a Kevlar pad, metal pad, Organic pad?
    Please help
    Thanks

    :? :? :? :?

Dont even install pads... just run the cylinder bodies.

Get Repco Metalmasters for track use only...
Then when you step on da brakes, Even Bubb RUbb will be amazed at the light show.

they would stop you real good for a while, until the rotor wore out, or the caliper seal came out and then you would not have and brake pressure..... just get OEM pads if you are not racing or on the track... they are the safest for most peoples driving styles (well at least sane people) and will also extend the life of the rotors

            NO NO NO NO NO

            OEM textar pads EAT ROTORS!
the new MetalMasters EAT ROTORS as well
they both suck... the old metalmasters were supposed to be good, but the new ones suck arse.

the brembo x-drilled will fail eventually since they're not cast w/ the holes... so unless they were VERY carefully drilled to that they don't drill through any of the internal venting ribs, you've already got a stressed rotor... not to mention the stress drilling puts on the casting. The only rotos with cast holes that I know of for our cars are the zimmermans... of corse I could be wrong, but that's just what I've seen so far.

            as for pads...

-Hawk HPS are good but they only make front fitment for E30's...
-EBC greenstuff are good, but a bit $$ (I hear it wears too fast on thre track, but light autoX use is okay)
            -Pagid... i dunno
            -Axxis Ultimates... dunno

Axxis Ultimates have been great. Use them on the street and for my track day. No pedal fade, don't squeal, and so far have caused no damage to my rotors. The only "downside" is that they make a lot of dust and so you clean your wheels more, but that's not biggy.

The knock off Brembo rotors are not truly cast cross drilled. Original brembos are cast with the holes afaik.

Yes I was joking about both the MetalMaster and no brake pads.
Get a set of Pagid pads.
They arent sper dusty, have good life, and hold up fairly well for a street pad to high stress braking.

                HTH,
