Longer throttle cable

I am looking for a longer throttle cable than the E30 M3 I already have.

Do anyone have any suggestions and measurements on longer throttle cables?

Can you tell us why you need a longer cable? What engine are you running?

You could fairly easily make/buy one but I'm curious also, why would you need a longer one?
