    Driveshaft differences

I see that the driveshafts use different part numbers from 85-87 and then again 87+ What is the difference between the driveshaft? I am loooking at the 5 spd driveshafts. Is there a difference in lenght or center bearing location. Would the older driveshaft work on the newer cars?

in late 87 the 325e driveshafts got a larger guibo and flange, then in 9/87 the center bearing changed but that shouldn't affect the driveshaft it self.

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

You might think, but when you go to realoem, it shows two diagrams, the one with the correct looking guibo says: "these parts don't fit your car."
the webepc is the same, weird stuff.
