I see that the driveshafts use different part numbers from 85-87 and then again 87+ What is the difference between the driveshaft? I am loooking at the 5 spd driveshafts. Is there a difference in lenght or center bearing location. Would the older driveshaft work on the newer cars?

in late 87 the 325e driveshafts got a larger guibo and flange, then in 9/87 the center bearing changed but that shouldn't affect the driveshaft it self.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

Anyone ever seen this flexdisc in this pic?#2 Apparently thats what belongs on my 90 325i. It looks weird.
