    Call Pete McHenry (Stu's dad).
He pioneered this swap, and has all the info to do it.

The CD is GARBAGE!!!! Most certainly NOT worth what you are paying for it.

Not worth buying, maybe not, considering its price. But Eric Lukas recommended it.

I live about 15 minutes from Zionsville.....maybe i ought to try to snatch a free copy - five-finger discount! HAHA, j/k

Or better yet, just download the copy off Kazaa!!! ;)

Anyway, he wanted to know more info and Zionsville could be a great source for project-specific parts......

Oh yeah. http://www.e30m50.com is a great source, and it follows one boys progress on doing the swap himself

what would i search for in Kazaa in order to get the cd just to see what i am up agaist? i need a ball park figure how much this will cost, bc i think of myself as a ok tuner. but i want a project like this done right? one tuner quoted me 7k in just labor i thank that high if that true ill stay with my engine and buy a e30 m3. with labor being that high and the cost for parts and the price of the engine , might as well.

I serously serously doubt it would be on kazaa. You may find a bittorrent link?

                            My dads # is (336) 761-0643.

The Zionsville CD is a generic swap kit. It is a "universal" kit for all E30's, and there are a lot of factors that need considering in different model E30's that arn't covered in the swap CD. Examples: wiring info is different on almost every E30; 84-85 318, 84 325e, 85-87 325e, 88 325e, 87 325i, 88-91 325i, '91 318is.
