ECU question

I looked at the ECU expecting to find a 3 digit number, but looked and got this
Stupid question. Can anyone tell me what my ECU number is from that? BTW, it's a 91 318is. Thanks in advance.

Is that the outside of the box? If memory serves correctly, there **should** be a Bosch ecu # on the outside somewhere. Like mine was 0-261-200-173 for example. Look for # in that form, last 3 digits being you ECU type.

If all else fails, push out the tabs, and look directly at the ECU chip.
