    Auto Trans leaking+big shaking+feels restricted

Hey guys need a bit of help, my buddy has a auto b25 car and right now we are getting massive shaking and vibration from the trans area and it increases with revs.

He is also pissing fluid from the kick down cable entrance into the trans.

We just are trying to figure out what is causing the shaking in all gears including idle.
Also when accelerating the engine feels underpowered or restricted. Any ideas?

Yeah, bad mounts will give you bad shakes at idle, but not really on acceleration/going down the road.

Lack of power, plus trans issues? Could be a few things:
      1. Trans is screwed and you're starting off in 2nd
      2. Kickdown cable isn't adjusted right.

"Decent" test for the kickdown cable is to powerbrake the car. If you can powerbrake it past 2.5-3k rpms, chances are the kickdown cable needs to be adjusted. Normal converter stall should be around 1800-2krpms... just a guess, google it.

Third issue: pissing trans fluid from the kickdown cable? The transmission should have a vent somewhere. No idea where it is on the auto BMW trannies, but I'm sure google does. Look for the vent and make sure it isn't all jacked up. If it is, pressure could be building up in the transmission and, well, that pressure has to go somewhere, right?

I think we narrowed it down to a damaged kickdown cable. Will report back with results
