Adjusted Valves, replaced VCG and Rocker caps...now car won't idle

Hey guys so today I decided to adjust my valves, replaced my valve cover gasket and rocker plugs. When I went to start my car after it won't idle. It'll start up and die right away unless I give it some gas, in which case it dies after I let off the gas. It really sounds like a vacuum leak to me, but idk from where. The front drivers side rocker plug did not sit as flush against the top of the head as the others, but when i removed it and put in the old one it was the same way.

I removed my spark plugs in the process and they look fine. When I put them back I didn't torque them...could that be it?

Any other ideas for when I rip it open again tomorrow?

    Thanks,
    Elliott

Sounds like an intake leak to me. In addition to the obvious gasket and rocker plugs, you may have disturbed something else.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Did you reattach the breather hose to the valve cover? Is it in good condition! Or hard and brittle?

Yep everything is attached as far as I can tell. Breather hose is in great condition. Tried doing the old wd40 leak test but it's basically impossible as it won't idle!! May need to take it to get smoke tested. Any other ideas?
