    Odometer stopped working randomly

I had replaced the gears a couple weeks ago and dropped my car off to get painted. I finally pick it up and the odometer is now dead. I have no idea what could have happened.

Which fuse controls the odometer motor? I have't seen anything else wrong with the instrument cluster.

Did you use garagistic gears? Are you sure the spacer was installed right? IIRC the gears can shift out of contact if not. Have you opened it up to make sure the gears are still in sync?

you may have over tightened the plastic gear cover, or put the tiny little o-ring (the one that holds he gears down) on too tight.

Its working intermittently. I'm going to observe it over the next couple days to see WTF is going on.
