    RESOLUTION:
It was unplugged when I switched out my hood latch lever the other week. I plugged it back in. It fixed my window switches. Check my fuses and replaced #10 and everything else started working

also, this blue/green wire is just hanging down. I see that it is plugged in at it's other end but does not connect to anything. Is this for alarm? ...or?

thanks again for everyone's help on this. i really appreciate everyone being here for me like this.

First thing to do is ground the green/black wire on the starter.

    Disconnect it first, of course.

    GL!

ground by the shift knob? I don't recall seeing this in mine, do you have a late model? I have an eta, not sure if this is different. I'll take a look when I get home, relays as well.

Remember that only 2 circuits in the whole car run on the "Unloader" relays, thats the HVAC fan and the windows. The starter controls the unloader relays, as bizarre as that sounds. That is what the green/black wire coming off the starter is for, it shuts down the windows and heater fan when the starter is running. EDIT: does your heater fan work properly? if so, the unloader circuit works, perhaps a bad K7(iirc)?

    Good luck.

Hey Luke are you suggesting this may be a relay? My HVAC and everything on my speedometer (except MPH) stopped working days after the window switches failed. I'll check the relays and everything and update with my findings.

Yes, this too, that ground point has failed on more than a few E30s

check the child safety button on the console? Seems simple, but worth a look.
