    IACV woes

OK, So I fixed the IACV.

Still running bad. But now it was running at 1500rpm steady (then i messed with some vaccum lines and now it's up to 1800 or so)

I've adjusted everything i can think of. Nothing is helping.

I tested the vaccum, I was getting 14 inches of mercury. But i have no idea what it's supposed to be at, so that gets me exactly nowhere.

    Here are my ideas:
Cleaning out the IACV with some carb cleaner?

Taking the throttle body off and cleaning it out as well as cleaning the throttle position sensor?

Put on some lambo doors, alot of vinyl and some spinners?

Replacing every single vaccum line (and anything that looks like a vaccum line) with new stuff?

Have you checked your afm? Is it stuck in the wide open position? That'd be a good place to start.

Nope, it appears to be working properly.

Bah, after all that it was just bad connections. I took some 400 grit sandpaper and sanded all of the contacts (when i replaced the wires i used the same contacts) and it works great.

But i still have a vaccum leak and i need to fix the timing.

Ok i'm out of ideas. I'm just going to start replacing stuff now. Could the oxygen sensor cause it to do that?

The inspection light is blinking (just started in the last day or so) when the key is turned to ON even when the engine is off.
