My seal has a crack on top left just in the corner
I've used black silicone behind the seal
        and my problem was solved

at sunny days when the was outside and the cockpit was warmed up my carpet smells like crap

Was the crack really obvious? I just looked and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Mine was at the bottom middle of the winshield on the exterior where that metal piece tied the ends of the seal together.

Well I was rewiring my stereo system tonight, and I think I found the culprit. If you pull back the carpet on the driver's side there is a hole about 2" in diameter. There was some sort of plug in it, but it stuck to the carpet when I pulled it back. I'm assuming this is where my moisture was coming from. I put a shitload of epoxy on it and slapped it in the hole! Now to steam clean my carpets and get rid of that smell.

OK, my carpet has become damp once again even after I plugged the hole in the bottom of the floorboard.
My sunroof ducts work great (tested them yesterday).
I can't see any cracks in my windshield seal.
                  Any more ideas?
