High Idle after new fuel filter!

Has anyone ever encountered this before? I replaced my fuel filter yesterday as part of maintenance. When I started my car up it idled high! 1500-1600! The only time that it idles at 1k is when I first start the car, a couple of seconds after it starts increasing rpm until it reaches the 1500-1600. any insight on what to do will be greatly appreciated! thanks

    Try adjusting your Throttle Cable.

How would you adjust the throttle cable? It has some slack at idle, which means the throttle plate is closed properly while at idle.right?

It's probably just coincidence that the idle went high after the fuel filter change. Make sure your ICV is working right.
