Hey guys, new on the forum and just picked up a 91 E30. been driving it for a few months now and its running pretty good. I took the seats out to clean the carpets and i also noticed there was a lot of water under the battery, so i took the battery out and drained all the water. I put the battery back in, and started it this morning and let it run and on my way to work it died, and i cant keep it running, terminals are tight, not sure what happened. Also this light came on on the dash, and went on and off a few times but mostly stays on.....any ideas? its 25 degrees out and i dont wanna take my harley lol

Im in waterbury. I dont think that the water caused the issue, but its basically ever since i disconnected the battery. I mean i guess the alternator could be shitting the bed and not keeping a charge but, ive never had the issue until i took the battery out, any idea what that light on the dash is?

Sort of feel like a dumbass but i fixed it lol. I forgot i checked my air filter the other night, but the retard who i got the car from put these big speakers in the way of the hood latch so it was hard to pop the hood. I broke the cable today and finally got it open to see the hose right below the intake tube disconnected. so thats what the light on the dash is, some sort of air flow light or something because i re attached it, ripped it up the road and the light went off....phew lol
