    Engine Depot

Not sure if any of you guys have heard of these companies, but I recently found out about them and they seem pretty legitimate. Not too much as far as BMW engines, but Im sure the inventory changes pretty often. Tons of SR20, RB25, 1JZ, and 2JZ swaps for any of you interested in doing that. I know there are quite a few popping up nowadays. Just thought these could be helpful to some. Curious to see if anyone else knew about these previously also.

Well, I don't know about all that with the euro stuff... but my advice is to stay away from the jap stuff. Anything that people use in drift cars is a no go.

There's these places in Japan where tourists and servicemen & whatnot can rent and then beat the shit out of drift cars (on track). Once the rental company decides that the engines are on their last legs they send them to these "super JDM engine company" places to be sold. FYI, apparently even the Japanese junkyards will pass up on these engines...

With all the bad drivers there, I can't imagine a car having more than 30,000 miles before being totaled. Plus it's jdm, JDM!!!

Up until about two months ago I wasn't aware of it either. Then I was asking a friend about his trip to Japland and he let me in on this little secret... makes sense though, considering how often drifters are like "I don't understand why this engine with all these nice parts blew up in my face after a few months"
