    Interior lights won't go out

Recently noticed my interior lights have been staying on after locking doors and waiting a few minutes, they turn off once the car is started and the doors are closed. Was thinking this may be the cause of my battery dying. Thought it was the alternator but according to the voltage regulator its not. Any ideas? Also, can I take out the fuse belonging to the interior lights or just take out the bulbs until the problem is solved?

Yes to both the bulbs and/or the fuses. Most likely a bad door switch.

I would check the door switches as well. Is it when you close any door, or just the driver's door? There's a delay for the driver's door; maybe something has gone awry with that?
