A few problems with my car

I have a 86 325e with a 87 m20b25 swap and for one it wont shut off. I turn the key and it just stays running and everything stays on. im assuming it is my ignition switch? not sure.

Also when im driving once in a blue moon around 3k my car will buck very hard almost like a misfire or something. it happened once when i was in first gear and once when i was in 3rd.

I have changed all the plugs and cap and rotor and plug wires. I have also checked my afm and everything looks tight and clean.

    Any info would help, thanks

Sounds like something might not have been wired up correctly (the no-shut-off issue)

Did the bucking go away throughout the drive or did it persist?

yea the no turn off issue just started tho. iv been driving it no prob for a few months then this just started.

and the bucking stopped it only happens once in a while and it is rough!

The bucking is absolutely electrical. Coil wire loose at all?

I'm going through the checklist we usually have with our race cars: Coil, coil wire, distributor, cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs (fouled?). Not sure what else it could be, maybe someone else could chime in. Just make sure everything is clean where it plugs in, is snug when you attach it, and is grounded well (in the coil's case).
