Anyone have the inside scoop on cheap bosch parts?

So I need to buy an alternator for my euro, and I can't seem to find anyone who carries an OEM generator...and the only alternator I can find, (# from bosch tag), is $380...there's got to be a better way, right?

Or does anyone know of a good rebuilding shop in San Diego?

    Thanks alot...

I bought my brand new BOSCH alternator for my car for $98 from WORLDPAC. Damn wholesale accounts rockz0r.

BMA likely has a good price on it for you too.

Hell, the auto has had an Advance Auto Parts alternator on it for 10k-ish miles, hasn't given a single problem yet.
