Hey, my cluster has gone nuts, temp guage and speedo are controlled by satan. Anyhow will this work in my 1988 325is? It says from an 318is, but its got the right tach etc, as long as its not an E-model I guess it would work correctly?

No. The 88 325iS has a VDO cluster, that is a Motometer cluster.My mountains are better than yours. -
E30 clusters are a royal pain!
I have 3 in the garage and all of them have different things wrong with them.
I hope you are able to find a good one.

Thnx! Ya, these guages are sooo wacky, seems everyone has trouble with them. I might tighten the ground on my temp, and try to resolder the joints next weekend. We'll see how that works. I doubt its my speed sensor cause it works off and on.Comment
