Major fuel leak from passenger side

So lately my car has been smelling of fuel when I fill it up with gas and I popped the fuel pump cover to see my sender was leaking so I put a new seal on it, only for the leak to continue. It is leaking down the gas tank and it started from the front of the tank but the top of the tank is dry and the vent lines look ok. What do you guys think?

Get a 5 gallon or whatever jerry can and have a friend fill 'er up while you're under the car. Have a pocket mirror and a flashlight handy... too vague to really tell via internet.

**NOTE**

These aren't really common any more, but make sure you're not using a drop light with an incandescent bulb... I've heard about those suckers causing shop fires from using them around gas.

my car was leaking from the seal that goes in between the fuel sender and the bracket that holds it on to the tank, replaced the seal and it stopped

Something makes me suspect your hose that goes to the filler neck and the tank.

My sender was leaking also, but it is still leaking even after I fixed the seal. It doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere obvious and the gas is coming from above the seam it looks like

did you replace #10?
its not immediately noticeable and form the looks of it all your hoses are crimped fine

Yeah, my sender didn't have a seal so it leaked, after I put it in it didn't leak from the sender

The top of the tank look dry, but the end is wet. The leak could be from the filler pipe or it could be a rust hole in the tank. Can't really tell from the pictures, but a swag would be the tank.

I'm going to replace the filler hose just to see if that helps

Not a bad idea to replace 22+ year old hoses... but you should probably find out where the leak is coming from bro.

I'm not driving the car as is obviously, its just really hard to see where it's coming from, I took a good look at the tank when it was in the shop the other day and on a lift but it's hard to see where it is coming from. Better to do small things first rather than assume big things

Right, just saying though, that with a light and pocket mirror, you might see where the leak is coming from while someone's pouring gas in.
