    double-locked out of my car

my keyless entry started acting up on sunday. so on monday night, i locked the car with the key. it didn't lock at 45* clockwise, but it easily locked at 90*. until yesterday, i'd never heard of "double locked".

now, i can't get the damned car to unlock at all. key in either door, nothing. got the trunk open, but can't get that to actuate any other locks. key turns CCW like normal, but with no resistance. when i hit the unlock button on the remote, i can hear something in the trunk click and sometimes i can hear a relay in the dash/fusebox area trying to go, but sounds like a buzzing relay.

i plan to overhaul the entire lock system (cylinders, CLCM, etc) after i get back in the car...but i need to get in the car.

i'm trying like hell to not have to put a brick through a window, but i'm running out of patience and out of time. car has been locked up solid since monday night.

    any ideas?

Uuhh sorry to break this to you bro, but as far as I know you're gonna have a bad time. Unless you can get one of the doors to unlock, you're going to have to get inside the car somehow and pull one of the door panels off to actuate the lock. Yes, this is with the doors closed, apparently it's one of the only ways to fix this issue.

that's what i'm coming up with too. one of the guys at work has a very small, very clever 7 year old that is being called on this weekend to hopefully crawl thru the trunk and get a window open.
      hopefully...

        HAHAHAHA

Child labor at its finest :D

I've also heard of people finegeling the "popout" window open but not being able to get inside... think a kid could fit through? I mean, most 7 year olds are pretty small right?

idk about the popouts making enough space even for a small kid....at least not one old enough to get the windows open.
but i'm going to use my wife as my first guinea pig tonight to see if she fits. hopefully, i can get in my car tonight and get to work figuring out how to prevent this BS in the future.

Might try pulling front or rear windshield if you are faced with the proposition of breaking into your car.
