    Pos. bat. cable routing

    I would like to relocate my battery to the trunkfor numerous reasson's.
    Does anybody know where cable is ran through from the trunk to the "jump start" point under the hood.??

      It runs along the passenger's side lower door sill all the way back.

        lol, drivers side (same side) here :D

        I just ran 2GA cable, it already had some pretty thick shielding around it which would protect it rather well, but just to be safe i used some garden hose, cut it down the center to split it open then wrapped it over the wire. Very little chance of something rubbing through it now, just wanted to be sure it wasnt going to earth to anything :)

        When you look along the sill you will see it basically has sheets of bitumen installed to cover access to where you can run the wire. Just chip it off and replace it once you are done.



        Excuse the rust, but you can see the stuff covering it there :)

          I wonder if cabby's have that same channel or if it blocked near the top storage box. Maybe this is why they never mounted the battery in the trunk on Vert's.
          Maybe it would be easier to run a new power cable under the car

            If one were to route a battery cable running out of the front wheel-well, up over the fender, duct taped to the roof, back down along the rear pillar, and into the rear wheel-well..

            It would look really bad [ass].

                If you guys figure out a way to do that and want the cable that is used to relocate the battery...i have 3. PM me if any of you want one.
