    91 bmw 325i convertible, NOISE PROBLEM, VIDEO INCLUDED

    the timing belt recently broke, I had a machine shop repair the head, valves and the rocker arm that broke. I put a new timing belt and did a valve adjustment.

    Here's the sound that's bugging me.

    I think its a bent valve that wasn't replaced.

    Sounds like bent valve to me...sometimes is hard to tell if valves are bent, so maybe the shop didn't replace them all thinking some were good..I would verify with the shop that did the work

      That is either a valve or a bad rod bearing. Using a stethoscope to isolate the source will tell.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
