    drain plug broke...

    ...inside while removing it. about 12mm of the hollow portin did not com out. is it safe to refil and drive or should i be dropping the pan?

      you sure its not a thread insert used for repairing bad threads?

          ...the 17mm nut portion came out..a couple of threads attached...but the rest of the screw is missing, i'm assuming, inside.
