    325i has trouble cranking

I bought a 89 325i about a month ago and once in a while I turn the key and it everything lights up and but it won't turn over. Usually on the second attempt it turns over and starts right up, well today it took about 10 minutes to start up. This is my second e30 but I'm still pretty new to them. Any input is appreciated.

    Thank you

Check for fuel pressure at the tank and at the injectors. Tee up a fuel pressure gauge to find out.

If that doesn't work, try vacuum leaks. Check and clean all sensors before replacing anything.

Lastly, the search button is your friend. HTH.

Check all your battery and starter connections. Make sure your engine ground at the oil pan to frame connection is in good shape as well as the ground strap in the trunk.

Try this first. Either that or your starter is ready to take a shit soon.

Also, try to stay warm... it's fucking cold out.
