    Cabrio Window Adjustment

My passenger side front window is way out of adjustment. At the bottom of the window, the side nearest the rear window, you can see the ground. Theres about 1/8 of an inch of space. At the top, the widow is just barely over the black center piece of the rear window.

It just came out of adjustment since winter, and really needs to be adjusted. How do I do this?

Not sure on how, but good luck. I found that most of my windows arent "perfect." It must be due to the lack of window trim around the glass (i.e. on the coupes). The top of my passenger side window barley catches the lip of the top when it closes. I just have to tug on the top and it goes into place.

I was like, wow those look alot like Alpinas... But there's not a centercap, but a BMW logo... I'm buying a set for sure! Thanks for the info!

I personally like them better without the centercaps. The center caps are $33 a piece and I just don't feel like having them on there and loosing one or having someone steal it. You *might* be able to find a set on e-bay, but you'll end up paying up the ass in shipping from a private seller. I would recommend you go through the only autorized Alpina dealer in the US, KSK Distributing out of Burbank, California. Contact them and ask them for a catalog.

It's $2,332 for a set of four 7" X 16" alloys, the classic Alpina style.

I assume that the window adjustment on the cabrio is the same as the coupe. If that is the case, pull off the door panel and there should be two adjustment screws. Loosen them up and fool around with the window until you have it right. I did it on my car because the window wasn't going up all the way and its pretty much perfect now.

I'll be damned, its in the Bentley Manual. Pretty darn detailed for the convertibles too ;)
