    strange coolant loss

my car is starting to lose coolant, i checked under the car while the engine is running but i could not find any leak. all hoses are tight, heater already bypassed, no oil in coolant or coolant in oil. no smoke in exhaust, engine runs perfect, the car once reached near 3/4 temp but never overheated and fixed by changing the thermostat. Is this a faulty headgasket, and how to diagnose a faulty headgasket?

    radiator clogged perhaps?
Air in the system? -bleed the system with 8mm bleeder screw on thermostat housing

That's strange if you have a leak, but don't know where it's coming from, especially after you check with the engine on....

I've bled the system so many times and i'm pretty much sure there's no more air in the system, the temp gauges is always in the 1/2 mark and goes down a bit when the car is running. I want to check the plugs in the morning to see if there is some traces of coolant in it, is it ok to do this test?

i have a coolant leak too, and its been too cold to repair it lately, so i keep filling up. i notice that it leaks until its low. but once it hits a certain level of low coolant, it doesnt leak any further. my car hasnt overheated yet though.

could be, but my guess is that its leaking from the hose that connects to my thermostat housing that i didnt secure and tighten properly. yes, i am a lazy fuck. until then, i shall blame the cold weather for not permitting me to fix this minor, yet bothersome issue.
