    Seta intake boot.

i was just wondering if i can use my intake boot off of my tb on a "i" tb? because this intake boot is weird, i only have one appendage on it and the only boots i see for sale have the one connector in the wrong spot. heres a pic

No, the i throttle body is a different size - you can maybe stretch the boot over, but no guarantees.

Get the boot for an '88 325i and it should work.

this is a 88 "i" intake boot. i dont think it would work, look at it it has one extra connector and the other is on the total wrong spot.

That's exactly the same boot I have. The extra connector on mine is plugged with a bolt (came that way), and the if you get a straight-thru ICV, as opposed to the right-angle one you have on, it should work.
