arctic vortex start no start

It idled for about 1 to 2 minutes started to smooth out then just abruptly stopped.
Don't know if this is related but the night before the temp gauge went to 3/4, I shut it down, popped the hood the motor was cold to touch, restart, gauge normal, half way mark.

When was the last time you check your SI board/batteries? When the temp gauge acts abnormal, it is a good idea to check the SI board.

When an engine stops abruptly, the first thing I check is vacuum leaks, fuel supply, and then CPS.
