    Still have the right-turn grinding noise...

    Hi everyone;

    About 2 months ago I posted describing a grinding noise I get from the rear of my car when I make right turns. At that time my CV axle boots were shot so I temporarily injected grease into them and wrapped in duct tape - a temp fix recommended by another board member. Well, the temp fix was until I could fund the CV axle replacement which I did. At that moment I also replaced my Center Bearing which was totally shot. Well, the grinding noise continued so the next thing I tackled was rear wheel bearing replacement which I did with my son last week. Result; still have the grinding noise.

    Any thoughts as to where my problem might be? Things I haven't replaced are: 1) Upper shock mounts, 2) Differential, 3) Shocks, 4) Sub-frame bushings.

    Thanks in advance for the help!

    The brake calipers are often overlooked. Check to see if they are stuck and cause the grinding noise.

      Dump the rear diff fluid and replace with redline or add an LSD additive
