    Windshield Wiper Arm Removal

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to remove both windshield wiper arms, but I don't know where to start.

Can you guys give me steps on how to remove them? Pictures would help too.

    Thanks!

Pop open the covers on the spindles and remove the nut. The arm will then lift off. Have the wipers folded at 90 when pulling them off.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You want to remove the arms completely from the car or replace the wiper blades?

If the arms completely, there's a plastic cover on the base (or should be) , lift cover, remove nut, pull off arm.

Save a trip to the mechanic with these removal tips and tricks Are your wipers not keeping your windshield clear like they used to? When your windshield wiper blades or arms get dirty or damaged, it's time to remove and replace them....

Sometimes (especially since we're talking about older cars here) the arms get stuck on the spindles. I've got a mini puller that works great, but if you use a punch you can gently tap the spindle a few times with a hammer and get em loose.
