    Windshield washer fluid tank delete

    Ok.. so i want to take the windshield washer fluid tank out but. what do I do about the sensor? i dont want the stuid light to be on all the time. so how do i "override" this problem?
    1990 BMW 325i

      mine doesn't say anything about the resv being gone. It might be b/c I think the 318is's "check panel" is only srs?

        Bridge the 2 wires on the sensor plug.
        85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

              you can short the sensor that attaches to the washer tank. Presto, no more stupid light.

                          I deleted mine because the tank had a leak in it. So it was just yellowing more and more.

                          I know when you take the car into a shop, they usually top off hte windshield washer fluid too, and if there were a leak in teh resevior, that'd be pretty annoying to have your car pee in your garage the night you come back from the shop.

                            I would think that replacing the tank would make more sense. It must suck not being able to wash your windshield

                              I don't miss it. I use mine as a coolant overflow catch bottle which is required for some track events.
