    passenger door locked "frozen"!!

My central lock decided to go crazy again...I replaced the passenger side with a new actuator that was about $100. Today, the central lock decides to Freeze the actuator in the locked position so i cant manually open the door even with the key. Wont open from the inside either... WTF!!!

Any ideas before I rip through the door car with a hammer?! I tried disconnecting the battery. No help.

I should also add at the same time my drivers door was double locked too. Thank god I got that open with the key somehow... then I found out the drivers door wouldnt close. the latch wouldnt catch. I drove around holding my door closed. Fuck this.

My drivers' door wouldn't lock for a while - I thought it was the actuator as well until I realized the interior handle was getting caught on its bezel (by an almost unnoticeable amount) which was binding up the linkage.

I'm gonna guess you've got something mechanical bound up in the latch... either that or it actually is frozen?? It's fucking cold out.

I messed with it yesterday. Lock is pissing me off. My only access to it is through the slit with the window down. Seems like my actuator is mechanically frozen. Theres a hook right above the actuator that Ive been trying to pull up to unlock the door but havent had any success in budging it. Any ideas?

My guess is that your passenger door might still be double locked.

If you're a contortionist/have access to a small child, I hear you can get the door card off while the door is closed if you remove the seat.

same deal with my passenger side not working after the powerlocks failed
the key in the slot wont even turn as it should. inside cant pull the knob..

            however

the key in the lock does turn a couple degrees..

without forcing anything! turn the key those couple degrees- hold it there - and pull up the door handle.

I tried that turning key...nothing. Then also even if you open the door by that method you didnt really fix anything...
