I thought it was the sprayer motor, so I replaced it with another used one. That worked for about a month, but now it is doing it again. Is it more likely to be that the used one is bad now too, or that the wiper switch is bad?

Check your fuses. They have a tendancy to work themselves slightly out of place and short it, most common thing I see is exactly what you describe.

Um, stop the car and turn it off?Originally posted by bergie33Funny, yeah. On the highway, over the mountain road at 60mph in commute traffic. Oh, and it was raining. And, you know what happens when your sprayers are on and you open the hood?
BTW, it's your fuses. Trust me.

Duh! "Mountain Road highway" = not exactly lots of space to pull over.Originally posted by Ben CarufelLet the tank drain or disconnect the power to the pump, doofus.
I had to drive about 1/4 mile before there was a spot to pull off the road. Oh, and by the way, draining the tank destroys the pump.Comment
