    Windshield sprayers won't turn off...

I thought it was the sprayer motor, so I replaced it with another used one. That worked for about a month, but now it is doing it again. Is it more likely to be that the used one is bad now too, or that the wiper switch is bad?

Could be switch, or could be wiring.

Check your fuses. They have a tendancy to work themselves slightly out of place and short it, most common thing I see is exactly what you describe.

Funny, yeah. On the highway, over the mountain road at 60mph in commute traffic. Oh, and it was raining. And, you know what happens when your sprayers are on and you open the hood?

Let the tank drain or disconnect the power to the pump, doofus.

Um, stop the car and turn it off?

BTW, it's your fuses. Trust me.

Duh! "Mountain Road highway" = not exactly lots of space to pull over.

I had to drive about 1/4 mile before there was a spot to pull off the road. Oh, and by the way, draining the tank destroys the pump.

Could also be that wiper control relay, its the big long black one in teh fuse box thats furthest toward the right side of the car.
