    I need some ECU/chip help FAST!!!

    This almost sounds like a noob question, but I got the Mark D chip for the 91 325i with 19lb injectors. I went to go put it in today and my ecu cover reads 0 261 200 524 on the green sticker. I have never heard of that number before. I have two other white stcikers that have 173 on them as you can see in the pic. Basicly I'm asking if a chip I got for a 173 ecu will work in this.
    My chip reads 173.7k0-9317

      Nope won't work, your ecu is not a 173, either see if Mark can make a chip for that ecu or buy a 173.

              yes all the 325i ecu's are interchangable

                                      Stupid question (or maybe not.) but why did you buy a -173 chip without checking?? It takes all of 10 seconds to check the number on the ECU.


                                      Also- if you haven't tried it already- that chip *might* work in your 173 ECU.

                                          My car was in storage so I couldnt check to ecu
                                          The chip starts in my car and runs, but not well
