Antenna Grommet WILL NOT come out

The grommet will not come out - it is the chrome grommet. I have disconnected everything but it will not come off the rod. I need help

If you don't want to save it just cut it off. If you want to save it I have no advice.

Hack saw, cut off wheel, dremel, angle grinder or file. Take your pick. I would use a dremel myself. Worth every penny they are.
