Heater core leak! ...or maybe not?

Checked with BMW, the car has no open service tickets so no-go on the recall. I ordered a new unit from Blunt, came in the very next day. He sure knows how to please a man

I may have been wrong about what the recall was for. All I know is that I got a new valve for free, and the dealer was ready to cover parts and labor. Your mileage may vary.

OK, I've heard of that problem before. it's for the bypass valve the prevents the core from exploding all over your legs. My car has the valve already, so I'm good there.
