Does anyone know what this part is and what it does?
That is the connector for the ABS wheel speed sensor for that wheel. If the connector on the body side is bad, I've spliced in one from from a junkyard car. If on the wheel side I replace the sensor.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
