    E30 325 Radiator Fitment

I am looking to swap my radiator to a E30 325 one (it gets damn hot up here in the tropics)

....but I have a fitment question.

As you can see my CAI sits just inside the chassis rail lip.

I was wondering if the plastic tank on the 325 radiator overhangs the chassis rail....I realise that I would have to fit a seperate overflow tank but I have something in mind for that.

As I live in the middle of nowhere (the nearest BMW wrecker is 1200kms away) and I have to order parts over the net or phone, I like to have fitment of parts confirmed by someone who has actually used the parts - I can't just pop down to the wrecker to have a look and there are no E30 325 in this town.

If someone could post a photo showing the same view as above I would much appreciate it.

    thanks

Nice CAI setup.. very well done..

I wish I could assist you but I have an 87 325i with the coolant tank on the passenger side.

Of course, if you are that concerned with temps considering where you live I would and really want to protect your investment I would go with an all alloy radiator from Zionsville.

No E30 radiator goes over the rails,
      So you should be fine,
