Can some one tell me how to get the cluster out?

You have to turn the wheel all the way to the left and use a crow bar to pry it out. Works every time ;)

You remove the plate over the steering column. There's 2 finger nuts on the back side, so you have to first remove the kick panel under the column. Then remove the outer 4 screws at the bottom of the clear cluster shield, thenthe top two. remove the clear plastic piece, then remove the 2 at the top of the cluster on the mounting tabs, then two at he bottom, and with some careful maneauvering you can pull the cluster out enought to get the plugs/wires loose. When you have that it's easy to just pull the cluster free.

Hoping the temp guage issues I'm having are just a bad wire/connection.

Nah, It takes about 5 minutes for me to get mine out. But I've done it several times................Easy job, even easier if you take the steering wheel off first.
