    TPS Removal

By the hands of what superior being must the TPS be unscrewed with in order to remove it from the throttle body?

The way my TPS is set allows for little to no clearance for a screwdriver due to the intake manifold.

Is this normal or did the previous owner really botch the setting of this TPS? I would like to avoid removing the throttle body altogether because of the coolant lines and gasket.

You serious? Is this just a situation unique to me or does everyone adjust/remove the TPS by unbolting the throttle body?

Are those hose going to pour coolant as soon as I relieve clamp pressure?

By the way, I appreciate the quick reply.

well you don't have to remove the coolant lines just leave them on the throttle body and be careful. just unbolt the 4 13mm nuts, then just wiggle the throttle body around and loosen the 2 screws and adjust. you might need a new paper gasket if you never removed your throttle body before.

Ok thanks! So that worked... now the only problem is one of the screws is stripped.

Just my cars luck. I don't even feel like it's worth the time to deal with such a small screw... I'm going to try and JB weld a nut on the end. If that doesn't work I guess I'll just buy another TB
