Hey guys - not sure where else to ask and I'm sure it sounds like I'm beating a dead horse with this topic but my heat only works on high (4). I replaced the motor twice...apparently the motor must not be seated right because it rubbed the back of the plastic housing and killed the motor. I got the second one and it still seems to be rubbing on the back of the housing but only once I put plastic cover over the motor (any advice with this)? Also it only works on 4 and doesn't really work, it squeals and I it's think due to it rubbing the back of the housing. I replaced the resistor pack with a new blue one so that should have alleviated that issue? Not sure where to go from here, I made it through the winter with no heat lol but sure would be nice to get working.

No Heat - replaced blower and resistor pack

The new resistor pack should have fixed the speed settings issue but you may still have dirty contacts on the blower side of resistor pack connection. Check for a blown fuse in the fuse box as well.
Regarding the wobble and rubbing, you need to have it centered in the middle of the double hinging metal clamp. If it is a used motor, there should be a dirty outline of where the clips go. The wobbling could be due to missing some of the tiny balancing clips on the fan blades. They look like paper clips and are usually between 3 and 10 total clips. If you don't have any, you may need to source another one that has them.

Sounds good, I'll check the contacts. And as far as I can tell it is centered until I put the cover back over it that has the two plastic straps that secure it in and it begins to rub on the back of the housing. One thing that I noticed is that the metal strap seems to have a little slack in it from taking the blower motor out a few times and bending, could this be a cause?
